If Iceland had jewelry, this would be the crown.
Welcome to Diamond Beach, where glittering icebergs from Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon wash up on black volcanic sand — a surreal meeting of fire and ice that feels like stepping into another world. On lucky days, we even get to see an Icelandic wild raindeer colony.
This is Iceland at its most cinematic: shifting light, floating ice, and that strange silence that only exists where nature is busy showing off.
It’s a long drive, yes — but worth every kilometer. Because some things you don’t just see… you feel.
We’ll pick you up anywhere in the Reykjavík area, usually around 7:00 AM, and start your day of pure Icelandic magic.
A vast lagoon filled with drifting icebergs, seals, and colors you’ll swear can’t be real.
Right across the road, where those same icebergs rest on the black sand like scattered diamonds.
Coffee, snacks, and a chance to stretch your legs mid-journey.
Stunning glacier views and short hiking trails if time and energy allow.
A hidden gem in Kirkjubæjarklaustur where twin streams tumble gracefully down the cliffs — peaceful, beautiful, and usually uncrowded.
If daylight and time allow, we can include the complete South Coast route on the return journey — Seljalandsfoss, Skógafoss, and more — with slightly shorter stops but the full experience.
750+ km of pure Icelandic wonder — glaciers, moss, black sands, and landscapes that seem to reset your sense of scale.
